Concepts
A majority of our projects involve us at an early stage in providing input to a concept in some form or other. This concept can relate to a whole zone or area of a town or city, a block of flats and its underground parking, or just a single traffic signals junction. The concept stage of any project is perhaps the most critical as the limits we identify and the recommendations we make during this stage will form the basis of the subsequent design and approvals stages.
During this stage we always seek to devise arrangements that will operate safely, efficiently, cost effectively and above all, will be implementable. Our concepts and the permitting process we propose to adopt are always discussed and agreed in principle with clients and the key authorities during this stage of the exercise. Once this outcome is achieved then the concept can be frozen and the most importantly, the design can be progressed with confidence.
